Overview

MOLYKOTE D-96 Anti-Friction Coating is a water-based, air-curing dry-film lubricant used as an alternative to felt tape for isolation and damping applications. It offers excellent anti-squeak performance, a low and temperature-constant coefficient of friction, and is free of NMP and APEO, drying to a transparent coating. It is designed for interior automotive components such as door panels, decorative trims, armrests, central consoles, dashboards, glove boxes and leather equipment, addressing slow movements or vibrations at low loads across plastic-to-plastic, plastic-to-metal and leather-to-plastic material pairings.
