HB BODY Heat Paint Spray

Overview

HB BODY Heat Paint Spray is a heat-resistant paint with high resistance to temperatures up to 300°C (572°F) and an excellent-coverage, semi-gloss, durable, fast-drying finish. It is available in red and is ideal for engine parts. It can also be used as the undercoat for HB BODY Spray Heat Texture Paint to maximise opacity. The surface must be dry, clean and free of grease: clean with a soft cloth and 770 ANTISIL NORMAL or 771 ANTISIL FAST degreaser (wipe on, wipe off with two cloths) and remove dust with air and a tack cloth. Spray from 20-30 cm in 2 thin coats of about 20-30 microns (0.8-1.2 mil) each, with 15 minutes flash-off between coats at 23°C (73°F). Full hardness is achieved once the painted surface is exposed to extremely high temperatures (200°C / 392°F). Specific gravity 0.85 +/- 0.02 g/cm3, solid content 18 +/- 2% by weight, shelf life 36 months in unused original containers stored at 5-25°C.
