HB BODY Brake Caliper Paint Spray

Overview

HB BODY Brake Caliper Paint Spray gives a high-performance, semi-gloss, durable and fast-drying finish on brake calipers and drums, with high resistance to temperatures up to 150°C (302°F). It does not crack, fade or rust, and is resistant to wheel acid and brake fluid, with excellent colour retention. It is available in Yellow (RAL 1023), Red (RAL 3020) and Blue (RAL 5005). The surface must be dry, clean and free of grease: clean with a soft cloth and 770 ANTISIL NORMAL or 771 ANTISIL FAST degreaser (wipe on, wipe off with two cloths) and remove dust with air and a tack cloth. Spray from 20-30 cm in 2-3 thin coats of about 30-45 microns (1.2-1.8 mil) each, with 10 minutes flash-off between coats at 23°C (73°F). Dust free in 1 hour at 23°C; through drying in 24 hours at 20°C (68°F) or 40-50 minutes at 60°C (140°F). Specific gravity 0.78 +/- 0.02 g/cm3, solid content 20 +/- 2% by weight, shelf life 36 months in unused original containers stored at 5-25°C.
