HB BODY Heat Texture Paint Spray

Overview

HB BODY Heat Texture Paint Spray is a high quality heat-resistant aerosol paint that withstands temperatures up to 300°C (572°F) and provides excellent coverage with a durable textured finish in red. It is ideal for engine covers and metal objects exposed to high temperatures. For optimal opacity of the textured finish, apply one coat of HB BODY Spray Heat Paint as a first layer. The surface must be dry, clean and free of grease: clean with a soft cloth and 770 ANTISIL NORMAL or 771 ANTISIL FAST degreaser and remove dust with air and a tack cloth. Spray from 20-30 cm in 2-3 medium coats of about 20-30 microns (0.8-1.2 mil) each, with 5-10 minutes flash-off between coats at 23°C (73°F). The paint is dust free after 10 minutes at 23°C, and full hardness is achieved once the painted surface is exposed to extremely high temperatures (200°C / 392°F). Specific gravity 0.92 +/- 0.02 g/cm3, solid content 25 +/- 2% by weight, shelf life 36 months in unused original containers stored at 5-25°C.
