HB BODY High Heat Paint Spray

Overview

HB BODY High Heat Paint Spray is a high quality heat-resistant aerosol paint that withstands temperatures up to 600°C (1112°F) and provides excellent coverage. It is intended for metal objects exposed to high temperatures, such as engine parts. Clean the substrate with a soft cloth and 770 ANTISIL NORMAL or 771 ANTISIL FAST degreaser, wipe dry and air dry, then spray from 20-30 cm in 2-3 medium coats of about 20-30 microns (0.8-1.2 mil) each, with about 5-10 minutes between coats at 23°C (73°F). The paint is dust free after 10 minutes at 23°C, and full hardness is achieved once the painted surface is exposed to extremely high temperatures. Shake for 2-3 minutes after the agitator ball starts to rattle; the optimum operating temperature range is 10-25°C (50-77°F). Specific gravity 1.1 +/- 0.02 g/cm3, solid content 43 +/- 2% by weight, shelf life 36 months in unused original containers stored at 5-25°C.
