Overview

MOLYKOTE D-3484 Anti-Friction Coating is a heat-hardening anti-friction coating for metal-to-metal friction pairs with slow to moderately fast movements and moderate to high loads. It is a permanent lubrication solution for applications where oils or greases cannot be used for technical reasons or soiling risk, combining excellent lubricating effect with good corrosion protection, a high flash point suited to series production, high compressive strength and high abrasion resistance. It contains MoS2 and graphite solid lubricants with no intentional PTFE or PFAS, and has been used successfully on pawls of safety cutouts, carburetor springs, lorry coupling sleeves, toothed gears, car safety belt parts, car-boot lock parts, and bolts and levers in agricultural and construction equipment.
