XIAMETER MEM-0349 Emulsion
Overview
XIAMETER MEM-0349 Emulsion is a 60% actives non-ionic emulsion formulated with a polydimethylsiloxane. Because of its non-ionic nature it can be used in a variety of systems, including furniture and automotive care preparations such as tire and vinyl dressings. Popular applications include mold release of rubber or plastic parts (stoppers, screw tops, bungs), lubrication of extruded rubber parts and conveyor belts, and use as a textile lubricant for yarn manufacture, sewing thread lubrication, hosiery manufacture, sewing needle lubrication and glass fabric exhaust filters. Typical properties from Dow: water-based system, non-ionic, pH 7 to 9.5, specific gravity 1 at 25°C.
