Overview

3M Scotch Linerless Rubber Splicing Tape 130C is a linerless, premium-grade rubber tape for low- and high-voltage applications. Its self-fusing EPDM rubber backing and fusible adhesive interlayer deliver a void-free, moisture-sealed build-up suitable for splicing and terminating solid dielectric insulated cables rated through 69 kV. It withstands continuous temperatures up to 194°F (90°C) with emergency overload performance up to 266°F (130°C), conforms easily around irregular shapes and connectors, helps dissipate splice heat, and is ASTM approved and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant. It suits primary insulation for low- and high-voltage splicing, termination and end-sealing of cables, and jacket repair and mechanical padding.
