Overview

3M VHB Tape 5952 is a double-sided tape comprised of a multi-purpose modified acrylic adhesive with a conformable foam core, delivering a total thickness of 45 mil (1.1 mm) and requiring no curing time. Its closed-cell acrylic foam technology offers secure bonding that performs on many painted and powder-coated surfaces, and it can replace rivets, welds and screws, eliminating the need for drilling, welding, grinding and project cleanup for faster production. It withstands short-term use (up to 4 hours) at temperatures up to 300°F (149°C) or long-term use up to 200°F (93°C), and is used in bonding and sealing applications across transportation, appliance, electronics, construction, signage and general industrial sectors.
