3M VHB Tape 4991 is a double-sided tape with a multi-purpose acrylic adhesive and conformable foam core backed on a red printed polyethylene film liner, delivering a total thickness of 90 mil (2.3 mm) — the thickest in the 4941 family. Its extra thickness accommodates surface irregularities while providing excellent shear strength and adhesion to high and medium surface energy materials.
