XIAMETER AFE-0200 Antifoam Emulsion
Overview
XIAMETER AFE-0200 Antifoam Emulsion is a 10% active, water-dilutable silicone emulsion designed to control foam in water-based industrial processes. Dow recommends it for cooling tower processes, fermentation applications, latex-concrete formulations, detergent solutions, insecticides and other crop protection products. It is easily dispersed and ready to use. Typical properties from Dow: white non-ionic emulsion, 10% active, dynamic viscosity 350 centipoise, specific gravity 1, shelf life 720 days; knockdown high to medium, persistency low, effective at high temperature and low pH, and across pH 3 and below and 3-10.
