CRC Aerosol Leak Detector

Overview

CRC Aerosol Leak Detector is formulated for the quick and easy on-site detection of gas leaks and air leaks. The water-based formula contains no oils, silicones or harmful solvents, is non-flammable and odourless, and is NSF P1 registered (NSF No. 142410). The aerosol package gives fast, easy application with no waste or spilling. CRC lists applications on refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, exhausts, pipes, valves, screw connectors, welding seams and compressors. Specifications on the page give a clear colourless liquid, a slow evaporation rate, no flash point, a pH of 10.4, HFC-152A as propellant and a note that it is safe on most plastics (test a small area first); it is removed with water. Supplied as an 18 wt oz (20 oz can) aerosol, CRC part number 1004997 (item 14503).
