Overview

3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive/Coating 2290 is a solvent-based, low-viscosity, amber-tinted thermosetting epoxy requiring heat cure, designed for metal-to-metal coating and subsequent bonding such as motor lamination and wire winding. It can be applied by brushing, flow coating, dip coating, roll coating, knife coating or spraying, and dries to a tack-free film allowing bonds to be made up to 3 months later.
