CRC Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor

Overview

CRC Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor is a long-term, flexible corrosion inhibitor that protects and preserves metal surfaces, stored engine components and fasteners subjected to salt spray and high humidity. It also provides effective protection for steering and throttle linkages. It leaves a dark amber, waxy, dry, transparent film that is tack free in 1 hour with a film thickness of 2 mils, and is rated Mil-C-16173 Grade 4. The working temperature is -40°F to 175°F (-40°C to 79.4°C). It may be removed with CRC Cleaner & Degreaser, mineral spirits, Stoddard solvents or aliphatic petroleum solvents. Applications include electrical connections (connections must be made first), engine components, equipment storage, fasteners, motors, shafts, spindles and steering and throttle linkages.
