CRC Mech Force Industrial Degreaser

Overview

CRC Mech Force Industrial Degreaser is an innovative non-chlorinated heavy-duty degreaser that removes oil, grease and other contaminants. The fast-evaporation solvent is excellent where rapid turnaround is necessary and low-flashpoint solvents can be used, and it offers a high permissible exposure limit. CRC lists benefits of leaving no residue, being non-corrosive, non-staining and non-conductive, and fast drying to help minimise downtime. Specifications on the page give a dielectric strength of 6,600 volts, a fast evaporation rate, a flash point below 0°F (-17.8°C), a KB value above 200, a clear colourless appearance and carbon dioxide as propellant; it is NSF K1 registered (NSF No. 149229) and is not plastic safe, so it is not recommended for Lexan, Noryl or polycarbonate-type plastics. CRC lists applications on contacts, metal switches, motors, relays, generators, edge connectors, busbars, circuit breakers, and scales and sensors. Supplied as a 14 wt oz (20 oz can) aerosol, CRC part number 1003421 (item 03151).
