WEICON Workshop Cleaner

Overview

WEICON Workshop Cleaner is a solvent-free and phosphate-free cleaner that cleans and degreases all metals, plastics, types of rubber, glass, ceramics and wood. It powerfully removes grease, oil, resin, soot, wax, nicotine, insect dirt, bitumen and tar splashes. It is free of solvent, emulsifier and phosphate, compatible with oil separators (OENORM B 5105) and, in accordance with EC guidelines, biodegradable. It is highly concentrated and can be diluted with water up to a ratio of 1:40; the data sheet lists dilutions from undiluted to 1:40 for jobs such as steel degreasing, machine tools, industrial floors and forklift trucks, lorries and workshop equipment. It contains selected foamless tensides, so in addition to manual cleaning it can be used in high-pressure cleaners, parts washing machines and spray apparatus such as the Pump Dispenser WPS 1500. The blue, nearly odourless liquid can be used from +5°C to +90°C (heating shortens cleaning of coarse soiling). The concentrate is alkaline (pH about 12) and must not be applied undiluted to aluminium or zinc coatings. It is AOX-free, has a minimum shelf life of 24 months and must be protected from frost.
