Overview
CRC 6-56 is a multi-purpose lubricant that resists water and salt spray and clears the moisture that causes electrical failures and hard starting. Sold in marine packaging (starts wet engines, frees rusted parts, protects against corrosion), it leaves a thin wet film (0.025-0.075 mils), has a dielectric strength of 38,800 V and is not safe on all plastics.
