Overview
CRC Brakleen is the original aerosol brake parts cleaner, first developed in 1971. Its potent solvent formula cleans and dries fast and removes contaminants with no residue. This non-flammable formula has no flash point, a very fast evaporation rate and a dielectric strength of 37,500 V. It is not plastic safe, and contains a chlorinated solvent (tetrachloroethylene), so it is restricted from sale in some US states.
