XIAMETER PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 350 cSt Food Grade is a 100% active, clear, food-grade polydimethylsiloxane polymer with a viscosity of 350 cSt. Dow lists food processing and packaging applications and rendering and edible oil processing as its uses. Benefits listed are that it is inert, harmless to metals and most plastics, and certified for use in the processing of kosher foods. Typical properties from Dow: clear fluid, specific gravity 0.97 (ASTM D892), silicone-only use temperature below 90°C, ready-to-use for non-aqueous systems and to-be-formulated for aqueous systems, effective over pH 3-10.
