CRC Sta-Lube Extreme Duty Food Grade Grease

Overview

CRC Sta-Lube Extreme Duty Food Grade Grease is an NSF H1 registered, NLGI #2 high-performance lubricating grease for use where incidental contact with food is possible. CRC lists unsurpassed resistance to extreme pressures and corrosion, including salt spray, and excellent resistance to water washout over broad operating temperatures, and describes it as great for all types of food plant machinery (NSF No. 144236; an allergen certificate is available). Specifications on the page give a tan, smooth grease, a working temperature of -20°F to 400°F (-28.9°C to 204.4°C), a drop point of 572°F, a worked penetration of 265 to 295, a pour point of -4°F (-20°C), a Timken OK load of 60 lb, a four-ball wear scar of 0.4 mm, a flash point above 202°C and a plastic-safe rating; it is removed with a degreaser. CRC lists applications in food processing and handling equipment, breweries, canneries, carton and packaging equipment, dairies and meat processing plants.
