Overview
MOLYKOTE U Paste is a solid lubricant paste for high-temperature applications, containing polyalkylene glycol base oil and high-quality molybdenum disulfide (over 60%) thickened with lithium soap. It offers excellent load-carrying capacity across demanding conditions, a wide service temperature range, and is compatible with natural and synthetic rubbers; with complete volatilization of the polyalkylene glycol at high temperatures, a molybdenum disulfide solid lubricant film is formed, and it contains no intentional PTFE or PFAS. It suits O-ring lubrication and packing preservation, protecting compressor and pump shafts against scoring, assembly and run-in operations, rolling element and plain bearing lubrication, elastomer and plastic component protection, and high-temperature slides, guides and track systems.
