Overview
MOLYKOTE TP-42 Paste is a light-colored, mineral-oil-based adhesive grease-paste with white solid lubricants for metallic friction combinations, primarily used as a chuck paste. It offers high load-carrying capacity, is particularly adhesive, resists washout by water and metal machining emulsions, prevents stick-slip and provides excellent protection against galling and good corrosion protection. It contains no intentional PTFE or PFAS and suits assembly and run-in operations, machining spindles, plain bearings, bushings, sleeves, slides, guides and tracks, especially on chucks for metal processing.
