Chesterton 610 Plus Synthetic Lubricating Fluid

610 Plus

Overview

Chesterton 610 Plus Synthetic Lubricating Fluid is a premium quality full synthetic lubricant designed to provide lubrication at temperatures ranging from -25°C (-15°F) to those over 270°C (520°F) where petroleum lubricants are unable to function. Unlike petroleum based lubricants, it will not carbonize, oxidize to a sludge or form lacquers and varnishes at high temperatures; it has excellent solvency and will actually remove many of these byproducts caused by other petroleum base lubricants, allowing equipment to run cooler and more efficiently. When operating beyond its capability, the product simply evaporates cleanly. It begins with a polyolester base, giving much greater stability and far less volatility than the diester base commonly used in most other industrial synthetic lubricants; at equivalent temperatures above 270°C, diester base lubricants lose over 5 times as much product through evaporation. A proprietary additive package adds extreme pressure additives for superior wear characteristics, rust and oxidation inhibitors for corrosion protection, and lubricity additives for maximum lubrication and minimum friction. Excellent for lubrication of equipment operating at elevated temperatures such as oven chains, motors, anti-friction bearings, paint curing and drying ovens, low loading gear boxes, ceramic ovens and oven door hinges, and for low temperature applications to -25°C in refrigerated or winter conditions.
