CRC Dry Ceramic Lube

1003302

Overview

CRC Dry Ceramic Lube delivers clean, friction-free performance with a dry, invisible film that does not attract dirt, dust, fibers, residue or packaging debris, which suits clean environments where a trace of oil or dust can disrupt sensors or cause inspection failures. This micro-thin lubricant bonds to metal, rubber and plastic, reduces friction, sticking and wear without an oily or greasy residue, and remains effective up to 450°F; its ceramic solids stay stable where oils and greases break down. It is non-tacky, does not migrate or creep like multi-purpose lubricants, and gives long-lasting lubrication for extended maintenance intervals. CRC states it is NSF H2 registered for use in meat and poultry plants (NSF No. 121621). It is tack free in 30 minutes and fully dry in 1 hour with a film thickness of 0.05 to 0.1 mils, working temperature of -40°F to 450°F (-40°C to 232.2°C), appears as a hazy white suspension and is supplied as a 10 wt oz aerosol. Applications listed by CRC include hinges, locks, catches, pulleys, conveyors, machine parts, chutes and slides, coin mechanisms, window guides, drawers and rollers.
