CRC Dry Graphite Lube

1003362

Overview

CRC Dry Graphite Lube is a dry film lubricant that is ideal for applications where petroleum products must be avoided. It forms a strong, dry, non-petroleum layer that resists water, repels dust and handles up to 25,000 psi, with working temperatures of 400°F (204°C) continuous and 850°F (454°C) intermittent. It withstands extreme pressures as well as water and chemical attack, dries rapidly at room temperature (curing in 10 to 15 minutes), lowers friction and prevents galling, and resists dirt, dust and oil build-up. As a non-tacky solid film it does not attract dust, grit or fibers and will not varnish like multi-purpose lubricants, and once cured it has minimal migration. Applications listed by CRC include gaskets, transfer and conveyor belts, motors, plant machinery and handling equipment, rubber moldings, low load or high rpm slides, rollers, wheels, gears, chains and hoists. The product is a black liquid dispensed as a 10 wt oz aerosol and is removed with petroleum solvents.
