WEICON Easy-Mix RK-7300 Structural Acrylic Adhesive

Overview

WEICON Easy-Mix RK-7300 is a fast-curing, solvent-free structural and construction adhesive based on MMA (methyl methacrylate). It adheres perfectly to a variety of materials with high adhesive strength, can be applied universally for static and dynamic loads, and gives high-strength bonds even on low surface energy plastics such as PE or PP and on EPDM. Its high viscosity also permits material pairings with different expansion coefficients, such as plastic to aluminium or steel. Special glass-bead fillers ensure a consistent adhesive gap of 0.25 mm, with maximum gap-bridging of 1 mm. The pasty, translucent / hazy white mixture is mixed 1:1 by weight (through a mixing nozzle from the 50 ml Easy-Mix cartridge), with a viscosity of 170,000-200,000 mPa·s, a pot life of 8 minutes at 20°C, 35% strength after 60 minutes, 50% strength after 480 minutes and 100% strength after 24 hours. Processing temperature is +10°C to +40°C, curing above +16°C, temperature resistance -55°C to +100°C, and minimum shelf life is 6 months.
