Overview
3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive EC-2216 B/A Gray is a flexible, two-part, room-temperature curing epoxy adhesive that provides high shear and peel strength for demanding aerospace applications. It maintains bond strength at low temperatures, including cryogenic use, and stands up to challenging environmental conditions. The 2:3 mix ratio simplifies mixing, and it provides a 90-minute working time. It bonds metals and many plastics and is widely used for composite laminate edge sealing and honeycomb-to-aluminium bonding.
