Overview

3M Scotch-Weld PUR Easy Adhesive EZ250030 is a one-component, moisture-curing urethane adhesive applied warm that achieves an extremely fast set time and is effective across a wide range of service temperatures. It is ideal for bonding wood and plastics including polypropylene, polyethylene, ABS, PVC and polycarbonate, and bonds to polyethylene and polypropylene with slight surface modification. The 100% solids formula has no VOCs, creates high-strength, plasticizer-resistant bonds, and offers the initial fast speed of a hot melt with the added strength of urethane, with little to no clamping or fixturing needed. It has 120 seconds of open time for joining parts followed by 30 seconds to handling strength. It is dispensed from the 10 fl oz (295 mL) cartridge with the 3M Scotch-Weld PUR Easy 250 Applicator, which can be kept at optimum temperature with the Easy 250 Preheater. Typical uses are wood or plastic for furniture and cabinetry, edge moldings and trim for countertops, tables, shelving and desks, wood or MDF drawer bottoms, backs and facings, and thin bond line applications in woodworking.
