WEICON Food Grade Lubricant

Overview

WEICON Food Grade Lubricant is a highly pure, medically pure white mineral oil containing no resins or acids, developed for lubrication and care. It is water-clear, solvent-free, odourless and tasteless, water-repellent and has excellent capillary action. It reduces friction and wear, suppresses squeaking, protects against corrosion and removes dirt and rust. It is used for lubricating, protecting and caring for precision mechanisms, as a spray oil for production and filling plants and as a lubricant for filling and packaging systems, wherever occasional, technically unavoidable contact with food or its packaging can occur. According to the data sheet it carries an NSF Nonfood Compounds H1 registration (136172), complies with purity grade DAB 10, USDA H1, FDA regulations and the FDA positive list, is silicone-free and transparent, and has a viscosity index of 110, a kinematic viscosity of 70 mm2/s at 40°C and 8 mm2/s at 100°C, a temperature resistance of -25°C to +120°C and a minimum shelf life of 24 months. It is applied by dropping or brushing onto the surface to be treated. Available in 1 L, 5 L, 10 L and 28 L containers.
