WEICONLOCK AN 302-43 Threadlocking

Overview

WEICONLOCK AN 302-43 is a medium-strength, higher-viscosity, blue, fluorescent anaerobic threadlocking adhesive with DVGW and drinking-water approval, which allows disassembly with normal tools. According to the technical data sheet it is used for thread connections up to M36, bridges gaps up to 0.25 mm, and has a viscosity of about 2,000-7,000 mPa·s, a breakaway torque of 17-22 Nm, a prevail torque of 8-12 Nm and a shear strength (DIN 54452) of 9-13 N/mm2. Handling strength is reached after 10-20 minutes and final strength after 1-3 hours; temperature resistance is -60°C to +200°C and the minimum shelf life is 24 months at room temperature. The data sheet lists approvals including NSF Nonfood Compounds S4 registration (169864), UBA KTW-BWGL and the ISSA and IMPA codes. For best results the parts are degreased and cleaned (for example with WEICON Surface Cleaner), though it can also be used on screws as delivered; it is applied straight from the pen with the dosing tip. It is available in 3 ml, 10 ml, 20 ml, 50 ml and 200 ml.
