WEICONLOCK AN 302-21 Threadlocking

Overview

WEICONLOCK AN 302-21 is a vibration-proof threadlocking adhesive classified as non-hazardous, with low viscosity (about 125 mPa·s), low strength and easy disassembly. The violet, fluorescent product is used for thread connections up to M 12 and bridges gaps of up to 0.1 mm. The data sheet gives handling strength in 10-20 minutes, final strength in 3-6 hours, a temperature resistance of -60°C to +150°C and a minimum shelf life of 24 months at room temperature. For best results the parts should be degreased and cleaned, for example with a suitable cleaner, although it can also be used on uncleaned surfaces such as screws as delivered. It is applied evenly straight from the pen with the dosing tip, avoiding contact between the tip and metal; for sealing applications it is applied to the thread in circles. Unused product that has touched metal must not be poured back into the bottle.
