Permatex Copper Anti-Seize Lubricant

Overview

Permatex Copper Anti-Seize Lubricant is a premium-quality copper anti-seize and thread lubricant that can be used to prevent seizing, corrosion and galling where high-temperature conditions exist. The specialised formula contains a high percentage of micro-fine copper flakes in a semi-synthetic grease carrier and is fortified with high-quality rust and corrosion inhibitors. It provides good electrical conductivity and has a stated temperature range of -30°F to 1800°F (-34°C to 982°C). Permatex lists suggested applications including spark plug threads installed in aluminium, exhaust manifold bolts, engine bolts, oxygen sensors, knock sensors, thermostat housing bolts and fuel filter fittings. It is supplied in the 8 oz brush-top bottle (Permatex item 09128); a 16 oz size is also listed.
