MOLYKOTE HSC Plus Paste

Overview

MOLYKOTE HSC Plus Paste is a solid lubricant paste, made with mineral oil, thickening agents, solid lubricants (copper, molybdenum disulfide and white solids) and metal powder with no intentionally added lead, and contains no nickel. It can be used over a very wide temperature range and allows non-destructive dismantling even after long use at high temperatures. It has high load-carrying capacity, good corrosion protection and good electrical conductivity, and its defined coefficient of friction allows defined pre-stressing forces to be achieved in bolted joints. Typical uses include stud bolts of gas and steam turbines, turbocharger stud bolts and flanged connections in chemical and petrochemical plants.
