CRC Extreme Duty Open Gear and Chain Lube

Overview

CRC Extreme Duty Open Gear & Chain Lube creates a black moly-graphite shield that resists wash-off, survives harsh environments and extreme weather, silences noise and absorbs shock. It is purpose-built for heavy, slow, high-load drives in dirty environments: the high-strength tacky film penetrates metal pores, stays put and will not fling off or get squeezed out like multi-purpose lubricants. It maintains performance in heat, cold and wet conditions across a working temperature range of -25°F to 350°F (-31.7°C to 176.7°C). It is fully dry in 20 minutes with a film thickness above 1.0 mil, and the data lists 4-ball EP above 620, 4-ball wear 0.7 and Timken OK load above 60 lb. Applications include open gears, chains, cables, wire ropes, quarry and mining equipment, fifth wheels of tractors and trucks, leaf springs, drive chains, screw threads and flexible couplings.
