CRC Isopropyl Alcohol Cleaner

Overview

CRC Isopropyl Alcohol Cleaner is a quick-drying, light-duty precision cleaner for industrial, electronic and aviation applications. Its 99% pure formula aggressively dissolves grease, dust, dirt, lint, oils and flux from most non-plastic surfaces. CRC lists a high-purity formula that evaporates quickly and leaves no residue, removes polar soils and other charged contaminants, is chemically stable, non-conductive and non-corrosive, is safe on most plastics (test a small area first) and is NSF K1 and K2 registered for use in meat and poultry plants (NSF No. 138013). Specifications on the page give a dielectric strength of 8,300 volts per mil, a very fast evaporation rate, a flash point of 54°F (12.2°C), a KB value above 200, a clear water-white appearance and HFC-152a as propellant; it is recommended for light-duty cleaning and degreasing.
