Permatex High Tack Gasket Sealant

Overview

Permatex High Tack Gasket Sealant is an all-purpose, fast-drying sealant that dries to a highly tacky, non-brittle film. It remains tacky indefinitely and can be applied in advance for convenience in assembly. It is sensor safe, holds gaskets in place during positioning and assembly, helps seal cut gaskets, and resists gasoline, oil, antifreeze, axle lube, kerosene, propane and butane. Permatex lists suggested applications including valve covers, fuel pumps, carburettors and manifold gaskets. It is supplied in a 4 fl oz (118 mL) can (Permatex item 80062); a 16 oz size is also listed. The can label carries a flammability warning.
