Permatex Bearing Mount Relaxed Fit Adhesive

Overview

Permatex Bearing Mount Relaxed Fit Adhesive is an OEM-specified, high-strength, medium-viscosity anaerobic adhesive for slip-fit assemblies. According to Permatex it provides 2,800 PSI shear strength on steel and fixtures in 10 minutes at room temperature. It is used to replace set screws, clamp rings and snap rings, and Permatex lists suggested applications including wheel bearings, idler shafts and press-fit bearings. It is supplied in a 50 ml bottle (Permatex item 68050).
