Overview

3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive DP105 is a very flexible, fast-setting, two-part epoxy adhesive that cures clear for invisible bond lines. It works on a variety of substrates including metals, ceramics, glass, wood and many plastics, and is flexible when cured, which makes it a good choice for bonding dissimilar surfaces and maintaining high shear and peel strength even under vibration and impact. The mix ratio is 1:1 with a 5-minute work life and handling strength in approximately 20 minutes at room temperature; it is fully cured in 48 hours at 72°F (22°C). The low viscosity makes it easy to dispense and self-level, and an effective tool for filleting and potting. Typical uses include glass-to-metal bonding where temperature changes are significant, such as glass oven doors, bonding items where appearance is critical, and general attachment in transportation, specialty vehicle, electrical, general industrial, sporting goods, construction and consumer goods industries. It can replace 5-minute epoxy for improved performance. Duo-Pak sizes work with 3M dispensing equipment.
