WEICONLOCK AN 306-60 Retaining Cylindrical Assemblies

Overview

WEICONLOCK AN 306-60 is a retaining compound for the assembly of cylindrical parts and the repair of worn-out bearing rings and bushings: high viscosity, high strength and hard to disassemble. The silver, non-fluorescent product has a viscosity of 150,000-900,000 mPa·s, bridges gaps up to a maximum of 0.5 mm, and the data sheet lists a breakaway torque of 35-45 Nm, a prevail torque of 10-20 Nm, a shear strength of 25-30 N/mm2 (DIN 54452), handling strength in 15-30 minutes, final strength (100%) in 3-6 hours, a temperature resistance of -60°C to +150°C and a minimum shelf life of 24 months at room temperature. It is applied evenly straight from the pen with the dosing tip, avoiding contact between the tip and metal; for pressed joints and larger parts both surfaces should be wetted thinly and evenly and the parts joined swiftly, twisting sliding seats against each other for optimum spreading. Bonded parts should not be moved until handling strength is reached.
