Overview
Loctite 246 is a one-component, blue opaque dimethacrylate anaerobic for locking and sealing threaded fasteners that need normal disassembly with standard hand tools. It suits heavy duty uses such as bolts in transmissions, construction equipment and railroad assemblies where shock, vibration and elevated temperature are present. The thixotropic formula reduces liquid migration after application, and it fluoresces under UV light for inspection.
